Today the Houston Business Journal did a story on the Houston YMCA executives being one of the highest paid in the country.  KHOU Report: Houston YMCA CEO one of the highest-paid charity execs in the country

I have sent my children to the summer YMCA camps here in The Woodlands the past 4 years and this summer was the BEST EVER!!!   I do have to admit my kids were not that excited the past few years to do the YMCA summer camps but this year it completely changed!

I am proud that our Houston CEO had the vision to come up with a facility like this at Creekside YMCA!

The New YMCA in The Woodlands / Creekside opened up this year and it is AMAZING!

What an asset this is to our community!

The new YMCA is on 21 acres, located in The Woodlands newest Village of Creekside Park next to the 1700 acre George Mitchell Preserve. Weekday Schedule (Monday-Friday)
The fountain will start at 8:00 a.m. in a passive mode until noon.
At noon, the first song (show) will play and every fifteen minutes thereafter another will follow until 2.00 p.m.
At 2.00 p.m., the fountain will return to a passive mode until 6.00 p.m.
At 6:00 p.m. the first song (show) will play and every fifteen minutes thereafter another will follow until 11:00 p.m.

Recession Provides Back to School Shopping Deals at Houston Premium Outlets Mall in Cypress, TX.

Recently I saw KHOU had a story on how there are some great deals on luxury items.  They showed the sale prices at a Houston Area Outlet Mall, specifically True Religion jeans.  With "Back-to-School" shopping, I decided to take my kids to the Houston Premium Outlets Mall in Cypress and we found some FABULOUS prices! 

This was definitely worth the drive from The Woodlands!
