Before and After ... WHAT to do with a dark Wood Beamed Ceiling?

WHAT to do with a dark Wood Beamed Ceiling? is a question I get from clients contemplating on purchasing an older style home.   I always try to show "Before and After" pictures to clients to visually help with their dilemma's.

Light Neutral Color Paint brightens up this whole space!  Also, changing the lighting helped this room.

Interesting thought.  I have wood beams in one of my rooms, and never would have thought to paint them over...  great pictures!

Great pics! - I think they did the right thing in those pics painting the beams! Sometimes though they do add character, but, you need a high ceiling to pull it off! Thanks Paige Walker
